This guide shows you all the important app features – from simple bike control to custom settings and ride data tracking, as well as the Heybike community.

1. Home screen: Your personal riding dashboard

When you open the app, the home screen provides an intuitive overview of your bike’s status and important control options.

Basic control

You can easily turn your e-bike on or off by toggling the switch directly on the screen.

Light control

With a tap, you can turn your bike’s front light on or off.

Real-time status

The home screen always shows the current battery level as a percentage.

Total mileage

You can check the total distance traveled (ODO mileage) of your bike anytime via the app.

Riding profiles

The app offers various preset riding profiles like Eco, Sport, Turbo, and Custom.

Each profile has different parameters such as maximum speed and the available range of pedal assist levels (PAS).

Note: This feature is not compatible with all Heybike models.

2. Custom settings (Bike Settings & Personalize)

Want to tailor your riding experience exactly to your personal habits? With the “Personalize” feature, you can customize your Heybike.

Custom name & design

You can change the name of your bike. The new name will then also be displayed on the home screen.

You can also swipe left or right to change the bike color in the app. This change will automatically sync with the home screen.

Speed units

Switch flexibly between imperial units (mph) and metric units (km/h) for the speed display.

Maximum speed & support levels

You can customize the maximum speed individually.

Additionally, you can set a separate speed limit for each individual PAS level.

Riding mode

Adjust how quickly the motor responds to your pedaling.

Boost:
Faster response and higher PAS sensitivity. The bike reaches maximum speed more quickly.

Standard:
Smoother and more consistent acceleration for a natural and comfortable riding experience.

Manage user rights

When connecting a bike for the first time, the first user is automatically assigned as the owner.

The owner can add or remove other users and transfer bike ownership.

3. Save every ride (share rides & rankings)

Every ride is unique – save and share your experiences with the Heybike App.

Capture ride data

Record your rides in real time and check important information such as:

• ride time
• distance traveled
• Average speed

Share rides

Share your routes and ride data with other users or on social media.

Rankings

Compare your performance over different time periods:

• weekly
• monthly
• all time

You can also view your personal ranking details, including:

• kilometers traveled
• reduced CO₂ emissions

Medal system

Reach various milestones and unlock exclusive medals – for example, by distance traveled, regular activity, or community interactions.

You can also preview how your selected medal will appear in your profile.
