Right of withdrawal
I. Important Information on the Right of Withdrawal
Under this online distance contract, you have the legal right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days after receiving the goods without giving any reason and without any costs for the withdrawal, unless otherwise specified in this policy.
1. Calculation of the withdrawal period:
Goods: Starting from the day you or a third party named by you (who is not the carrier) physically takes possession of the goods;
Goods delivered in multiple partial shipments or pieces: Starting from the day you take possession of the last partial shipment or piece;
Goods delivered at regular intervals: Starting from the day you take possession of the first piece.
2. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you only need a withdrawal period of 14 working days from the date of receipt of the goods (using the following "Online Exercise Instructions" or the EU/UK standard form). You do not need to provide any reasons.
3. Extension in case of incomplete information: If this shop has not fully informed you before concluding the contract about this right of withdrawal and the standard withdrawal form on a durable medium, the withdrawal period is automatically extended by 12 months from the original expiry date; if we provide the missing information within this 12-month period, the withdrawal period is 14 days from the date the information is provided.
II. Online Exercise of the Right of Withdrawal
1. Access the withdrawal request page via the "Withdraw Contract" link in the footer menu of the homepage or via the "Right of Withdrawal" link in the "Policies" section of the homepage, in the member area, or on the order details page. This link is accessible without registration.
2. Withdrawal process:
Enter your order number, the email address used for the order, your name, your address, and the items you wish to return.
Submit the withdrawal request.
3. Legal proof of transmission: After successful submission, you will receive a confirmation email (to the email address used for the order). This email contains details of your withdrawal request and a timestamp of the submission, which serves as legally valid proof of withdrawal. Please keep this for your records.
III. List of Goods Excluded from the Right of Withdrawal
According to Article 16 of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (Directive 2011/83/EU) and Annex 2, Item 1 of the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the right of withdrawal (without giving reasons) within 14 days does not apply to the following goods. IV. Regulations on Refunds and Logistics
1. Refund period: We will refund the full amount within 30 days from the date we receive the returned goods or from the date you provide valid proof of return shipment (whichever is earlier). The refund will be made using the same payment method used in the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise.
2. Refund amount: The refund amount includes the full price paid for the goods and, if applicable, the standard shipping costs. We do not charge consumers any fees related to a withdrawal for:
Payment processing or handling fees exceeding actual costs;
Costs for consultation or calls to customer service;
Unreasonable fees for restocking or cancellation.
3. Return shipping costs:
When exercising the statutory right of withdrawal, you (the consumer) bear the costs of returning the goods:
A return fee of €200 per bicycle applies for returning a complete bicycle.
A flat fee of €30 will be deducted from the refund for returning accessories.
Additional costs arising from choosing a return method other than the cheapest standard return method offered by us or due to your location will be handled according to applicable legal provisions.
Depreciation: If the use exceeds what is necessary to check the condition, properties, and functioning of the goods and causes depreciation of the returned goods, we reserve the right to withhold an amount corresponding to the loss in value, as far as legally permitted. We recommend keeping the original packaging and accessories when returning goods.
4. Collection of goods: Unless otherwise agreed, you must return the goods within a reasonable period (we recommend within 14 days) after withdrawal. If we offer to collect the goods from you, this collection will be arranged within the statutory period.
