Electric Bicycles

Your electric bicycle is delivered partially pre-assembled. Only a few parts need to be fitted after you have taken the bicycle out of the box. For instructions on unpacking and assembly, please follow the videos on our YouTube channel

You can ride in light rain and do not need to worry about splashes from wet roads or raindrops. However, we do not recommend riding the electric bike in heavy rain or very damp conditions.

Heybike electric bicycles (except Explore and Ranger) can be connected with the Heybike Smart App. With the app, you can control your bicycle remotely, record every ride, adjust the speed, and search for nearby dealers.

We provide a 2-year warranty on all Heybike electric bicycles, including the combination sets. Please note that different types of warranty extensions require a corresponding payment. For more information, please see the warranty terms.

You have 30 days after receiving your package to request a return. Please first contact our customer service team at eu.support@heybike.com to receive a return label. E-bikes work by combining pedaling power with electric assistance. When you pedal, the motor switches on and provides an extra push – known as pedal support. This way, you can ride uphill or over longer distances more easily without tiring yourself out.

The range of an electric bicycle depends on the battery capacity, the motor power, and the riding conditions. Generally, you can expect between 30 and 65 miles (about 48–105 km) on a single battery charge. Factors such as terrain, rider weight, and level of assistance also affect the range.

When choosing an electric bicycle, you should consider your needs and your budget. Determine the main purpose (commuting, leisure, transport, etc.) as well as the preferred electric bicycle category. Research reputable brands, read reviews, and take test rides with different models. Pay special attention to motor power, battery capacity, comfort, and warranty. Make sure the chosen electric bicycle suits you and complies with local regulations.
