WARRANTY TERMS
This limited warranty is issued by Heybike, Inc. and is effective from July 1, 2024. It applies only to products sold on the official Heybike website (heybike.com). Other purchasing methods for Heybike e-bikes (Amazon, offline dealers, Best Buy, etc.) are subject to the corresponding warranty policies.
For the Original Purchaser
We provide a 2-year warranty for each Heybike e-bike, excluding all wear and tear items. The warranty begins from the day the bike is received.
For Subsequent Owners
We provide a 2-year warranty for each Heybike e-bike, excluding all wear and tear items. The subsequent owner must provide proof of the original purchase (original owner's name and original order number). The warranty still begins from the day the original owner received the bike.
Note: ① “Original Purchaser” means buying the e-bike directly from the official Heybike website. “Subsequent Owner” means the second or later owner of the e-bike. ② If it is necessary to replace bike parts, accessories, or even the bike itself, we may charge a certain amount as a shipping fee. Please contact our customer service team for assistance.
Wear and Tear Items
“Wear and tear” refers to damage that naturally and inevitably occurs as a result of normal riding. Wear and tear items are not covered by this warranty policy. The following is a non-exhaustive list of typical wear and tear items not covered by this warranty:
- Bearings
- Brake Pads
- Chains
- Free Hub Bodies
- Handlebar Grips
- Rubber Moving Parts
- Shifter, Brake Cables, and Casings
- Spokes
- Sprockets
- Stripped Threads/Bolts
- Tools
- Transmission Gears
Uncovered Situations
This warranty is void under the following circumstances and does not apply to damage caused by any of the following situations:
- Improper assembly or installation.
- Crash, neglect, improper repair, improper maintenance, or other abnormal, excessive, or improper use.
- Corrosion.
- Improper alteration or installation of components, parts, or accessories not originally intended for or compatible with Heybike products.
- Failure to perform maintenance or service at appropriate intervals in accordance with the written instructions provided with the products.
