WARRANTY TERMS

This limited warranty is issued by Heybike and is valid from July 1, 2024. It only applies to products sold on the official Heybike website (heybike.com).

 

For the original buyer
We offer a 2-year warranty for every Heybike e-bike, excluding all wear parts. The warranty starts from the day the bicycle is received.

 

For subsequent owners
We offer a 2-year warranty for every Heybike e-bike, excluding all wear parts. The subsequent owner must provide proof of the original purchase (name of the original owner and original order number). The warranty still starts from the day the original owner received the bicycle.

 

Note:
① "Original buyer" means purchasing the e-bike directly through the official Heybike website. "Subsequent owner" means the second or later owner of the e-bike.
② If it is necessary to replace bicycle parts, accessories, or even the bicycle itself, we may charge a specific fee for shipping. Please contact our customer service team for assistance.

 

Wear parts
"Wear" refers to damage that naturally and inevitably occurs during normal riding. Wear parts are excluded from this warranty policy. The following list is not exhaustive and includes typical wear parts not covered by this warranty:

  • Bearings
  • Brake pads
  • Chains
  • Freehub body
  • Handlebar grips
  • Rubber movable parts
  • Shift, brake cables and housings
  • Spokes
  • Sprockets
  • Worn threads/screws
  • Tools
  • Gearbox

 

Non-covered situations
This warranty is void under the following circumstances and does not cover damage caused by any of the following situations:

  • Improper assembly or installation.
  • Fall, neglect, improper repair, improper maintenance, or other abnormal, excessive, or improper use.
  • Corrosion.
  • Improper modification or installation of components, parts, or accessories that were not originally intended for or compatible with Heybike products.
  • Failure to perform maintenance or service according to the written instructions provided with the products at appropriate intervals.
