WARRANTY TERMS

You have a 2-year guarantee on a new HEYBIKE electric bike and 1 year on a new battery, which covers defects in workmanship and materials.

Guarantor: Heybike GmbH, Flinger Broich 18, 40235 Duesseldorf, Germany.

The consumer's statutory warranty rights are not restricted by our guarantee. The use of these rights is free of charge. The warranty begins on the day the product is delivered. If this information is not available or is unclear, then the start of the guarantee is the date of initial purchase according to the original invoice or receipt.

LOCAL AREA OF APPLICATION
Our guarantee statement applies exclusively to Heybike electric bikes (including original Heybike bike batteries) that were purchased from Heybike and are used in the following countries:

Germany, Austria, Netherlands, Poland, Czech Republic, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Croatia, regardless of whether the user has his or her place of residence within or outside of these countries.

HOW TO MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM IF YOUR PRODUCTS EXPECT A DEFECT
To claim your warranty, please follow the steps below:

Contact Heybike customer service: Inform our customer service about the problem. We may ask you to provide proof of purchase and a detailed description of the defect. If possible, send us photos or videos. For safety reasons, you should stop using the product until the problem is resolved.

Collaboration with Heybike Customer Service: Our customer service will work with you to find possible solutions. This could include instructions for simple self-repairs, referral to an official service point, reimbursement of repair costs at a specialist workshop of your choice or returning the product to Heybike for processing. We will guide you through the process and provide original or equivalent replacement parts if required.

Please note that you must notify us and obtain our approval before carrying out any repairs. Unauthorized repairs may affect the ability to inspect the defect and determine whether it is covered by the warranty. The warranty may be void if repairs are carried out without our prior authorization.

The warranty does not apply to: damage or defects due to accidents, incorrect assembly or installation of the product by the user, improper or negligent use, modification or modification of the product, maintenance contrary to the product instructions (e.g. lack of maintenance of the brakes) or wear and tear or defects related to the normal use or life of the product.
