A joyful prelude to Mother’s Day
On May 8, 2025, as spring blossomed in the streets of Paris, Heybike celebrated an early Mother's Day with a warm tour along the Seine and at Place de la Concorde. Approaching the French Mother's Day, which will take place on May 25, we created a space allowing Parisians to pause, reflect, and express their love for their mothers in a unique and meaningful way — through handwritten messages, beautiful flowers, and moments of joy shared with our EC Compact Sport electric bike.
Sharing love, one postcard at a time
The Heybike booth quickly became a warm corner filled with smiles at the heart of the city's vibrant energy. We handed out fresh flowers and blank postcards, inviting passersby to write messages of love and gratitude for their mothers.
Many participants – young and old alike – gladly took a moment to write sincere notes, which our team then collected to send on their behalf. For some, it was a small gesture but full of emotion. For others, it was a precious opportunity to reconnect. It was moving to see these private expressions of gratitude shared in a public space.
The star of the day – the EC Compact Sport electric bike
Alongside love letters and flowers, we proudly showcased the EC Compact Sport electric bike. With its modern design, smooth appearance without visible welds, and compact frame, this bike immediately caught the attention of curious Parisians. Many praised its elegant color and build quality.
We also invited passersby to try the EC Compact Sport, which impressed them with its comfort, stability, and responsive power. The 110 km battery range was a major asset, with several cyclists noting it would easily cover their daily commutes or weekend outings.
Even better, people found the price accessible and fair, especially for such a well-designed and practical urban bike. The EC Compact Sport is indeed perfect for those with limited storage space and who struggle to navigate the busy streets of Paris to get to work.

Much more than a simple product presentation, this event was an opportunity for the entire Heybike team to connect with people through joy and happiness. Whether it was a young adult writing their first card to their mother or an older woman sharing a ride for the first time in years, every encounter reminded us why we make bikes that go far beyond mere transportation – they create memories.
So many touching moments were truly moving. The stories shared about mothers brought smiles and sometimes tears. This emotional connection made the day special, as we all recognized the importance of expressing our gratitude to our dear mothers. Moreover, this Paris tour also gave us the opportunity to strengthen Heybike's presence in France, sparking interest and trust within a growing community of electric bike enthusiasts.
