Will my Heybike e-bike be delivered pre-assembled?
Your e-bike is delivered partially assembled. Only a few parts need to be installed after you take the bike out of the box. For unpacking and assembly instructions, please follow the videos on our YouTube channel
Can I ride Heybike e-bikes on rainy days?
You can ride in light rain and don’t have to worry about splashes from wet roads or raindrops. However, we do not recommend riding the e-bike in heavy rain or very humid environments.
Which app works with my e-bike? What features does the app have?
Heybike e-bikes (except Explore and Ranger) can be connected to the Heybike Smart App. With the app, you can remotely control your bike, record every ride, adjust the speed, and search for nearby dealers.
What warranty applies to Heybike e-bikes? Can I extend it?
We offer a 2-year warranty on all Heybike e-bikes, including combo sets. Please note that different types of warranty extensions require a corresponding payment. For more information, please see the Warranty Terms.
What is the return & refund policy?
You have 30 days after receiving your package to request a return. Please first contact our customer service team at eu.support@heybike.com to receive a return label. How do electric bicycles work?
E-bikes work by combining pedal power with electric assistance. When you pedal, the motor kicks in and provides an extra boost – known as pedal assist. This makes it easier to ride uphill or over longer distances without getting exhausted.
How far can you ride with e-bikes?
The range of an e-bike depends on the battery capacity, motor power, and riding conditions. Generally, you can expect between 30 and 65 miles (about 48–105 km) on a single charge. Factors such as terrain, rider weight, and assistance level also affect the range.
How do I choose the right e-bike?
When choosing an e-bike, you should consider your needs and budget. Determine the primary purpose (commuting, leisure, transport, etc.) as well as the preferred e-bike category. Research reputable brands, read reviews, and test ride different models. Pay special attention to motor power, battery capacity, comfort, and warranty. Make sure the chosen e-bike suits you and complies with local regulations.
